AGREE! RT @StephenDrakeNDY May 3rd *used* 2 be 'nat'l disabled pets day.' In 2006, a do-gooder declared it 'too negative', now it's 'specially-abled pets day." See http://bit.ly/IVxQvm "The name held too negative a connotation... because these pets are very able!" Aaarggghh! Me, my life partner and most of my friends are disabled, not 'specially-abled.' Our two cats are disabled, not 'specially-abled.'
